COCKTAILS

Our cocktails grow out of the same seasonal ingredients as our food with the list changing regularly. If there is something you have had in the past that you don’t see on the list, just ask and we will be happy to make it for you!

a clockwork orange 
bourbon, rooibos syrup and a dash of orange bitters “oh, bliss, bliss and heaven”

g&t rethunk  
talk about old school! letherbee gin, cinchona bark, grapefruit, ginger, lime

paisley park  
plantation rum, violet liqueur, and cassis shaken vigorously with lemon, egg white and lavender syrup.  fresh, complex, and purple: a beautiful homage to the artist formerly known as …

under the boardwalk  
trying to squeeze in those last lingering days of summer into a glass. encanto pisco is shaken with strawberry serrano shrub, sumac syrup and lime to remind you of eating saltwater taffy down by the sea. served up.

hornet’s nest  
letherbee vernal, chamomile honey, home-made herbaceous ginger bitters, served up.

when the rye comes marching in
a spin on a nola vieux carre. redemption rye, maison rouge vsop, vya sweet vermouth, cinpatrazzo local amaro, in a mint tincture rinsed glass.

Our wine list is curated from small, boutique producers and winemakers. We think of it as a list with a “story” and what stories there are to tell. Please ask, we love to share!

BEERS

Last but not least, is our beer list! Our beers are almost entirely from the mid-west with the majority being from Illinois; often half the list may be from Evanston itself! Our list which is a combination of bottle and draught changes frequently.

BOTTLED BEERS

hefewizen brewed in madison. all natural and unfiltered. notes of banana, citrus and spice. bring on summer!

light and refreshing with fruity aroma, hints of green apple and a touch of malt. extremely quaffable.

dark horse brewing, amber ale   mi   8   5.5%   12oz
“red headed step child” of their beer portfolio & inspired by almost everything from belgium, special yeast gives this brew mild hints of fruit and clove.

firm, clean bitterness with a mix of pine, resin, and bright citrus aromas, capped off with a snappy, dry finish.

delicious, non alcoholic, beer that tastes like beer.

DRAFT BEERS

sketchbook, honeybird ale, il   6  6.4%  10oz   
a soft malt flavor, the aroma of local clover honey, and a subtle minty and peppery flavor from thai holy basil. the result is an extremely enjoyable and refreshing pale ale, that will take your stress away.

temperance, escapist, apa, il  6.7%,  7  10oz         
this american spa comes on strong with four types of aromatic hops and the right amount of battering, then smoothly makes its way to the exit, lingering only in your memories.

a combination of belgian ale yeast and unique blend of apples from earth first farms in michigan. aged in oak to give additional boy and tannin structure.
